Our Robot cables series that meets various standards

About Robot cable standards

To ensure safety, there are various standards for Robot cables.
This time, we will introduce the standards related to Robot cables and DYDEN's Robot cables that comply with these standards.

UL(USA)

UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) standard is a safety standard established by the Underwriters Laboratories.
They carry out certification testing of all kinds of electrical products to protect human life and property from fires, electric shocks, and other accidents caused by inferior electrical products.
Electrical products that meet the UL standard are highly regarded for their safety, and this is the most important standard when exporting electrical products to the United States and other countries.

There are two types of UL certification: "Recognized Certification," which is UL certification for parts and materials, and "Listed Certification," which is UL certification for final products.

We introduce our UL certified Robot cables in the table below.

Recognized Certification

Listed Certification

CSA(Canada)

CSA (Canadian Standards Association) standard is a safety standard established by the Canadian Standards Association.
Like UL standard, CSA standard aims to protect human life and ensure security. If you export electrical products to Canada, you need this certification.

c-UL(USA)

c-UL standard is a certification of safety that is provided by UL based on the CSA standard.
Products that meet this standard are labeled with c-UL and are treated as being equivalent to being certified by CSA.

We introduce our CE certified Robot cables in the table below

CE(EU)

CE mark is affixed to products that comply with the EC directives of the EU (European Union) to certify the quality and safety of the product and guarantee free distribution within the EU.
There are no EC directives that apply to electric wires, but we believe that the Low Voltage Directive applies.

Our Robot cables that comply with UL standards are as shown in the table below.

CCC(China)

CCC (China Compulsory Certification) is a compulsory certification system for products established for the purposes of protecting consumers and ensuring safety in China.
The certification covers five types of wires and cables, and you cannot export to China without certification.

RoHS Directive(EU)

RoHS Directive is a regulation on hazardous substances enacted by the EU (European Union) that prohibits the inclusion of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

There are 10 substances that are subject to the RoHS regulation.

  • Lead
  • Cadmium
  • Hexavalent chromium
  • Mercury
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs)
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)
  • Four types of phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP)

Maximum allowable concentrations are set for each substance.

For our robot cables and network cables manufactured from July 2018 onwards, we guarantee that they do not contain any of the 10 substances specified in the revised RoHS Directive.
To make it clear whether a product is covered by the warranty, we display the "RoHS ⑩" mark on the tag attached to the product.
Please note that we do not guarantee any products that do not have this mark.
